How we created a spectacular virtual Summer event for Amazon

THE REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE

Amazon host a Summer event for their team every year. This year was to be no different with one small change… it had to be virtual. We set out to deliver an experience where Amazonians could do all the things they do at the usual live event from the comfort of their own home. Here’s how we did it.

ATTRACTION

We developed the Amazon Summer Delivered concept where we would deliver the Summer event directly into Amazonians homes. We developed the visual creative for the event and set up a bespoke registration platform for 2800 Amazonians to register for the event. 

We sent out teasers from the host and entertainers to build excitement as we neared the event itself. 

 We produced and delivered a Summer Event Kit that went out to every Amazonian who registered on the site. They received a bespoke Bujo Burger kit with sweets, treats and a couple of beers so they could celebrate in style at home. 

LIVE

We built the event programme to celebrate the best of young Irish talent. Our host, James Kavanagh, welcomed the Amazonians to the party with a special family event where we had a hands-on cookery tutorial with Erica Drum and then a special magic show with Jamie Skelton. 

We then jumped straight into the main event from our live studio with James introducing our musical acts including Hermitage Green, Bobbi Arlo and PrYmary Colours. We created and produced a bespoke Amazon set for the full live performance. 

The entire show was broadcast over our custom built software that enabled Amazonians to interact with the show throughout the evening. 

FEEDBACK

We engaged Honey & Buzz to produce our recent Summer Virtual Event for Amazon & AWS Dublin on the 28th August 2021. The event included a nationwide hamper drop and live production that was broadcast to 2100+ employees.  From the moment of engagement we found the Honey & Buzz team to be very professional, organized, with very strong project management and creative solutions skills.  We also found the team to be very personable, honest and receptive to feedback given.  Overall they produced a successful event and we were a satisfied customer. We would highly recommend Honey & Buzz.
