5 questions we have been asked when planning client staff events in 2021
Is it safe to plan a staff event right now given current government restrictions and guidelines?
It’s a dynamic environment and the reality is that guidelines are changing all of the time. We plan our clients’ events whether they be live, virtual or digital with the utmost care for the health and safety of the employees. We follow best practice and our safety teams are currently working with government officials to help navigate the ongoing situation. Put simply, you will be in safe hands no matter what event you are planning for your team.
Will we be able to have a Christmas Party this year?
In short the answer is yes because we are not limited to live events. We can plan the event to be live and then move to a hybrid or virtual event in line with current guidance. At present, the advice is that we can plan for in person events for December 2021. We are currently booking live event spaces for our clients for their in person Christmas Parties in December 2021 and January 2021.
Can we run our annual Summer festival/BBQ event?
This will depend upon vaccine rollout, government guidelines and of course ongoing health and safety advice. We recommend looking at a hybrid event for Summer 2021. We are happy to chat through the options with you during an initial call.
Is it possible to run our event across multiple offices?
Yes. We have studios in multiple locations and can run hybrid and virtual events in multiple locations across multiple cities in line with your companies global footprint. This allows for a feeling that your global team is truly coming together as one. Most importantly, we make the events engaging and fun so that if it is a virtual experience that it doesn’t feel like yet another video call. It’s vital that people feel enthused by the event.
What platform should we use for our virtual or hybrid event?
There is no one size fits all answer to this question. A little like there is no one venue that is perfect for every event. We have hosted client events on multiple platforms and ensure that we choose the best platform based on the specific client requirements for the event. We delivered the Asia Matters Conference using Hopin and have had equal success using Zoom, Youtube, Vimeo and several other specific platforms.
